Save the Routemaster

9th Dec 2005

The END

(Route 159 the last proper Routemaster route)

of a bus designed for LONDON, by LONDONers,
build in LONDON

of conductors who are real people,
instead of broken road side ticket machines
build like a parking ticket machine!

of the ability to board and alight where you needed to,
instead of doors which either have to remind you they are about to open
because of the same heath and saftey
that we are told we are not let us have a new lowfloor Routemaster
(aka a BUS BUILT FOR LONDON)

of any level of client facing service,
staff secuirty on the London Bus Network.
Replaced by graffiti, glass scratched litter driven boxes on wheels

of common sense, which TfL and Ken now have none.

of something LONDONers could be proud of

Thanks to:

The Mayor of London, Ken Livingston
Managing Director - Surface Transport, Peter Hendy

&
Transport
to be noting proud about London

Time is running out to save London's most recognisable symbol, most practicable form of bus travel and it is UP to you to make sure it does not go with out a fight.
